Kapoho about 25 miles from Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii is known for some of the finest and safest snorkeling in the Islands.

Here in Kapoho the sunniest spot on the quiet side of the Big Island of Hawaii is where you can still be in touch with a bit of old Hawaii untouched by city life. We cordially invite you to visit this piece of Paradise.Kapoho is a small quiet gated community.

In one of our ponds you will see an eighty-year-old 400 pound green sea turtle named Arthurena. You will have the pleasure of feeding her. She has been a resident of our pond for 40 plus years and is tagged and protected by the Department of Fisheries. The many varieties of tropical fish which also flourish in the ponds make them a beautiful snorkeling location.

The Kapoho Estate House features 2ponds and its own private ocean access salt-water swimming pool a spacious living room dining room kitchen 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths an outdoor tub master bedroom with queen size bed. Multi-level patois and a gazebo overlook the ponds and ocean.

Downstairs is a shady lanai at water's edge. A two-car carport includes an enclosed laundry storage area and pool table. The yard is beautifully landscaped with flowering shrubs palm trees a manicured lawn and other tropical plantings.

Kapoho Paradise: This brand new home called offers a spectacular view of the ocean and two natural ocean fed ponds loaded with tropical fish. While you are sitting on the deck you can enjoy watching our resident sea turtle named Arthurena.

It has its private access into ocean and warm champagne pond. In champagne pond you can swim snorkel and see lots of beautiful fish and sea turtles. The ocean is warm clean clear sparkling blue.

This new home offers spectacular views of the Ocean Ponds and Autherena. This home has 3 br 2 ba with instant hot water over 1200 s.f. living area and 2 huge decks to enjoy the ocean. This paradise offers 2 queen size beds a full day bed and sofa bed 6 people can sleep comfortably. All the bedrooms and state of the art kitchen with island offer ocean and pond views from every room. The master bathroom has a prism skylight.

Lot of open space with large glass patio doors to see the ocean from living room. It also offers full laundry facility.

Kapoho Tidepools are protected from the ocean's waves by a coral reef the water is crystal clear and often warmer than the ocean because of geothermally heated springs that enter into the tidepools in various places.

Area attractions include swimming scuba diving spelunking a public swimming pool in Pahoa fishing restaurants reefs surfing snorkeling and a beautiful clothing-optional beach.
