Los Castillos is an established prestige apartment community adjacent to the golf course and overlooking the village and the sea beyond. Within the community are tropical gardens incorporating two swimming pools and a children's paddling pool. All of the facilities of Puerto de la Duquesa, including a bank and a small supermarket, are within eight minutes walk. The air-conditioned accommodation comprises two large bedrooms (one double, one with twin beds), two full bathrooms (one en-suite), a large living-dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A spacious south-east facing terrace overlooks the gardens and enjoys sea views, and provides an alfresco dining location.

The apartment is reached via a short flight of steps from the road, or by lift from the underground garage. The same lift can be used to reach the gardens and pools, so, while the apartment is not specifically fitted out for the disabled, it is 'wheelchair-friendly'.

Puerto de la Duquesa lies about 12kms South West of Estepona in the western part of the Costa del Sol. It is less than an hour's drive from Malaga airport and about twenty minutes from Gibraltar. The local facilities cater to most holidaymakers - there are blue-flag beaches, a golf course, a marina and numerous restaurants, cafés and bars. Within half an hour you can be shopping in Marbella or Puerto Banus, playing one of many other golf courses including the famous Valderrama, enjoying beautiful mountain scenery in the Sierra Bermeja or visiting an African Wildlife park at Selwo.
