The little village of Laurac-le-Grand was at one time the capital of the region of Lauragais and has some interesting sights to offer: the village church, a ruined castle and parts of fortifications dating back to the 11th, 13th and 16th centuries.
Magnificent views can be enjoyed from the 341 metre high *Pierre Levee*, enabling you to look out over 7 Departements.
The village baker visits us every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with freshly baked bread and croissant - delicious!
